In 2016, Derrius Co-Founded BREAUX Capital, a financial health platform for Black Men to co-invest in the markets and in their communities alongside each other. During his leadership tenure as Co-CEO, Derrius steered the enterprise to numerous achievements including executing a human capital model to grow from a three-person startup team to a remote 28 person team in under 24 months, refining customer acquisition strategy to facilitate second-year revenue growth of 900%, third-year revenue growth of 200%, and 100% YoY growth during the first-year uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Today Derrius remains as President of BREAUX Capital and its associated investment club, BREAUX Capital Investor Club.

In its 14 years since being published, the book Million Dollar Scholar: Winning The Scholarship Race has become an education bestseller and required reading in schools across the United States. Having reached over 10,000 students and counting worldwide, the ripple effect of this independently written, designed, and distributed book has been tremendous!
